An Ode to Felicity

On this very special day, I would simply like to say:

Blow out your candles and have a splendid birthday!

Raise a glass, throw up a cheer,

And celebrate another year!

Happy 25th Sweetie!

I’ve always liked the chapter header illustrations in Future Science Fiction.

"I want to be a princess hairdresser." “What’s going to be the hardest part about being a princess hairdresser?” “Cutting Rapunzel’s hair.”

Now, what do we have here?
This fine piece of man is the one and only Leif Eriksson (Pronounced: Lead Eric-son) . Yeah, the one with the holiday in Spongebob. Its real thing people. October 9th, Leif E
Now, Leif was the son of Eric(Erick) the red, the sneaky bastard who founded Greenland and named it so wrongly to trick people to move in. Leif traveled to Norway, where he was converted into Christianity.
The viking hunk was the one to discover Vinland, which would later be called North America. Yep. Leif-y boy here found America before Columbus. And did he cause any trouble? Nu-uh. He stayed the winter there before returning home. Didn’t start any fights, didn’t try to take anything over.
After that there were only a few attempts by other Vikings to settle in Vinland, all failed due to problems with the natives.
So story made short: This adorable warrior cutie was the first European to set his amazing feet onto North America land, and the last till Columbus accidentally wondered in.
((BONUS FACT: Those silly horned helmets always shown worn by Vikings were popular only in operas. The hunky Vikings never wore ‘em.))

this won’t get 1% of the women’s version of this post.

the world we live in, and people in general don’t care about men. we are pretty much robots who aren’t allowed to show emotion. we’re taught from a young age that boys don’t cry.

fact is women are sexualised, men are idealised. because men can’t be raped because they’re big and strong right? right? yea, pretty much the idiots view of living.

This week on Tuesday Zoo, the Larcenous Cat!  Nicole Allin version!

I really love Nicole’s Larcenous Cat.  Multiple light sources!  Also this is the kind of larceny all cats dream of.
